It has two baskets, one for the bottles and one for the nipples and etc. Try to use this sterilizer at 3 am and tell me that you love it.
Sleep is good. I would rather spend 500 on a dishwasher then go through the experience of using this unit.
The design of this unit is horrible. This unit makes me more angry then happy.
Frustration sucks. any bottle other than ones designed for this unit do not fit.
It is very hard to remove the baskets from the unit and in the process you handle the bottles so much that you almost unsterilize in the process.
This item is a great product and a truly tremendous help, every parent or household should have one.
The display that shows the number "cero" didn't show anything. When the "cero" appeared the number 1 or number 2 didn't appear even I pushed the white key once or twice.But now my wife is calling me (May 11, 2009 at 05:00 pm) because this equipment is not working again. I bought that sterilizer last march 21 2009, my baby was burn last May 5 2009, I started to use the sterilizer last Friday 8 2009. The sterilizer worked this at 7:00 am today (May 11, 2009) after move the power cable input located in the back side of the sterilizer several times. so I'm going to look for a new one able to use with a microwave oven because I don't want to be worry for.I'm going to try to get my money back and I won suggest this equipment to someone. Last night (Monday 11 2009 at 2:00 am) when I tried used in order to sterilize some bottles, the equipment DID NOT work. simply it didn't work.
I bought this sterilizer and i really happy with the price i paid and with the product because its excelent.
We would rinse the bottles and nipples in warm mildly soapy water, dunk in clean water and load this. It has a couple of settings one we used most of the time but there's another if you want to run an extra sanitize cycle once in a while.
We put everything in it. We used it multiple times a day for more than a year and never had a problem.
As a bit of a clean freak, I love this thing and feel good about the germ free nature of anything that's been in it. It's smart as well because it shuts itself off and won't turn on if it doesn't have enough water (which we forgot a couple of times).
Though, a word of caution on chew toys with liquid in them, it pretty much boils that internal liquid and melts the plastic on the toy (user error). After hand washing bottles and nipples in burning water to try and make sure everything was clean for my babies I finally purchased one of these for the last one.
It cut my time in half and I felt that it was clean as it comes out burning hot.
